Race Tracker follows your live position in a race and sends a push alert every time it changes. You can also follow teammates on a live dashboard.
How do notifications work?
Your device subscribes to web push. Our server watches the official results and, each time something changes for your bib — a checkpoint passed, a position gained or lost, or the finish — it pushes an alert. These arrive even when the app is closed, as long as your device is online.
I'm not getting notifications
Run through these:
- iPhone: web push only works after you Add to Home Screen (iOS 16.4+) and open the app from there.
- Android / desktop: tap Allow when your browser asks.
- Make sure notifications aren't blocked in your browser/OS settings for this site.
- Send yourself a test alert from the Profile tab to confirm the device is set up.
What's the difference between “Me” and “My team”?
Me tracks you with push alerts as your position changes. My team is a live dashboard of other participants you follow (by bib) — handy for a team manager to see who's where and get a bidon ready. The team dashboard updates on screen but does not send push notifications.
Which timing websites are supported?
- ChronoRace / ACN Timing (acn-timing.com) — fully supported.
- MYLAPS Speedhive (speedhive.mylaps.com, sporthive.com/sessions/…) — lap & session events supported.
- Sporthive mass events (results.sporthive.com/events/…) — in progress.
- Coming later: RACE RESULT and ENDU.
Timing is what powers the whole app — MYLAPS transponders are widely used for gran fondos and cyclos.
How do I find my race's results URL?
Open the event's live results / classification page in your browser and copy the URL from the address bar. Paste it into Me or My team. Then use Pick from the start list to choose your bib by name instead of typing it.
Do I need an account?
No login. You're identified by a private link stored on this device. To use the same profile on another device, open Profile → Add another device and follow the link there. Your data is only used to deliver your alerts.
No updates are coming in
Check that the race is actually live (results are being published) and that you pasted the results/classification URL — not the event's home page. A start-list URL with no live timing won't produce position changes yet.
